Create Your Silver Spoon

With the dawn of the new millennium, an evolved era of business has been ushered in. An era that birthed crowd funding, co-work spaces, peer-to-peer lending and now an unconventional method of peer support that can only be described as an essential tool in the leveling of the field process for diverse college students seeking access to career catalyst resources.

Derived from a witty spin on the classic idiom… to be born with a Silver Spoon in one’s mouth, meaning to be born into wealth and privilege. Silver Spoon Foundation exists to provide career preparation access to young and emerging professionals not necessarily born into wealth and privilege but every bit as capable and committed to their career success as their peers of more affluent backgrounds.

Silver Spoon Foundation is a dynamic 501(c)(3) charitable system that empowers supporters of the young and driven to invest in an innovative career development pipeline that supplements traditional post-secondary education. Donors can help via transparent donation opportunities that are specific and measurable.

Our Mandate

The Silver Spoon Foundation believes that there is much hope in the globally connected, technologically enabled, socially aware and otherwise uninhibited mind of today’s diverse emerging professional. It is with this hope that we set forth on an ambitious mission to meet their focused and committed efforts with a system of vanguard programming and peer suppport that more closely puts them to their goals and dreams where the startling opportunity gap may have otherwise prevented.

Our unyielding commitment to the post-secondary student is unmatched and is demonstrated through our innovative programming. Success is measured by reduced underemployment and unemployment of our recent graduates of the program in relation to their peers.

MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, IT’S OUR DECISIONS, NOT THE CONDITIONS OF OUR LIVES, THAT DETERMINE OUR DESTINY.
